odd-time grooves shifting between 5/4 and 12/8 in Part I to before Part II. Expressive male vocal in the style like a chanson singer, raw power, guttural growls and moans woven into melody. Decadent, Distorted guitar interlocking with jazz-fusion fretless bass and progressive Hammond organ, orchestral strings layered from Part II. Close-miked intimate verses shifting to full-throated shouted chorus. Wet reverb on verses, drier aggressive mix on Part III. before Part III drops to near silence then a single fortissimo orchestral hit breaks it returns in driving 4/4. Chromatic passing chords, unexpected modulations. Cinematic, theatrical, goosebump climax, nostalgic yet unsettling undertone. Final chorus adds full orchestral hits and choir-like layers for maximum intensity.
